The sunshine of my happiness,
Weaker than that of others,
Never as bright as it should be,
Never as right as it can be,
The darkness of my depression,
Leaves a scolding impression,
Stronger than my Sunshine,
Defeating the best thing that’s mine,
The darkness of my depression,
I can feel it reaching,
My very sunshine,
It is breaching,
The great darkness of depression,
The very best at deception,
It tricked me into thinking it was gone,
The mood change has just begun,
The Darkness of depression,
Step one – Anger to hide my weakness,
Step two – All happy memory gone,
Step three – Sadness explodes out like a bomb,
The Darkness of depression,
I do something to release the tension,
Physical Pain now becomes the object,
Mental Pain is part forgotten,
The Darkness of depression,
Made me shout at a friend,
She tried to help,
All I did was yelp, about me, nothing else,
The darkness of depression,
It won the battle,
It does every single time,
Soon, happiness will be mine.

I really like the way you’ve expressed yourself, ‘coz I can relate to it so well..
You are soo deep. I go through this every day, and I never knew how to explain it to anyone. I struggle with daily life, such as when my razor is too dull or I am forced to bathe. You inspire me to be a better emo. Even more depressed at the way our society has excluded us. One day emos will rule! Well.. only slightly under the power of the nerds. They’re pretty powerful, especially the runescape playing ones. They’re the coolest.

that’s deep, man. I”m going through the exact same thing. We all need to stick together, us emos.

yoo nice poem, u know that i dont really know you but you worry me, ive got nothing against u and nothing against emos but the reason u worry me is coz im afraid ur gna cut urself of something and thats a very harsh way to take out anger i know how hard it is to be depressed and have people hold it against you but please dont cut urself, and this is coming from someone who doesnt even know you but i still care. have you heard of “to write love on her arms?” if you havent please look it up, it might really help you i hope youre okay i hope you all are - punky
