Having your hair over the eyes doesn’t necessarely have to damage them but I think you should wear glasses if you have a bad eye-sight.I’m emo,and I have to wear glasses- it doesn’t make me look like a freak. Two of my friends wear glasses too. xD

If you get an emo haircut that covers one eye consistently, that eye may become “lazy” because it remains under-used. However, if you get a haircut that allows you to part your hair in different places and you can switch the eye that is covered by your hair or clip it back occasionally, your eyes will get the exercise they need and I don’t think your vision will suffer. Do make sure you wear your glasses or contacts though, and maybe do eye exercises to keep your eyes strong. Not following your prescription will make your eyesight worse, but not as a result of your hair. Don’t listen to the idiots that called you such awful things, k? They don’t even know you. They’re obviously just seually frustrated and taking out their angst in a semi-anonymous way so that they feel safer and where you can’t retaliate back. Good luck with your hair. I’m sure you’ll look very pretty. =)
